DESCRIPTION
BELOVED® is an anti-sex trafficking organization lovingly equipping brave women on
their new path to freedom. The BELOVED® Restoration Program is a trauma informed
program offering clinical individualized care that includes safe housing, a Strength
Based case management model, mental health services, and a healthy community for
each resident.
The Resident Advocate role is a key position supporting the residents' growth and
recovery. The position assists in identifying and meeting residents' needs, building
community, engaging in volunteer activities, and care coordination through the weekend

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Coordinate with the Residential Coordinator and Program Manager to effectively
manage residents’ schedules, transportation, and ensure their individual needs
are met
2. Provide assistance to Residential Coordinator and Case Managers when needed
with individual client concerns or overall program issues
3. Facilitate orientation of new residents, including facilitating the move-in process
for new residents
4. Create and execute weekend schedule and plan activities for residents
5. Manage resident phone line for resident calls while on shift
6. Plan and facilitate classes as part of the program schedule
7. Alongside program staff, plan and lead weekly community meetings for residents
8. Plan and lead house meetings bi-weekly
9. Manage purchasing and distribution of house and resident supplies and provide
residents’ transportation to the grocery store
10. Maintain schedule and provide transportation for AA/NA meetings and track
resident attendance
11. Enforce home and resident handbook guidelines and reinforce resident conflict
de-escalation guidelines
12. Schedule and conduct house/chore checks and Room searches to ensure
houses are kept safe, orderly and well maintained
13. Manage maintenance requests to ensure repairs are conducted when needed at
residential homes
14. Purchase and organize office supply inventory
15. Attend BeLoved staff meetings, trainings, and clinical supervision as needed
16. Oversee scheduling and logistics of volunteer opportunities for residents
volunteering in the community and track volunteer attendance
17. Assist Case Managers with monthly volunteer trainings
18. Participate with program staff in the on-call rotation to support residents in the
event of after-hours emergencies

PRIMARY RELATIONSHIPS
● This position reports to the Residential Coordinator
● This position works with the Residential Coordinator, Program Manager and
Clinical Director to ensure each resident is receiving the highest level of care
● Majority of the role will be interacting with BeLoved residents

QUALIFICATIONS
● High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree or higher in a
behavioral or social science field preferred
● One year or more of related experience in residential direct care support for
relevant populations preferred
● Administrative, organizational, and computer skills including use of email and
Microsoft Office suite of products
● Documentation of references (at least two professional and one personal) that
attest to the person’s capability of performing the duties of the position and to
the person’s suitability of working with or around at-risk populations
● Clean Motor Vehicle Record
● Ability to lift objects up to 25 pounds
● Satisfactory criminal history background check

SALARY: $17-20 per hour based on experience
