The MRI Technologist care for patients while operating equipment to producehigh quality images for radiologist interpretation.

Responsibility includes:

• EMR-PACS navigation, general patient care, positioning patients, providingprocedure information and executing proper imaging protocol/techniquefor all examinations.
• Complies with all regulatory requirements in providing safe and appropriate care.

Required:

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT(R)) registered.
• Advanced certification in MRI one year after hire if not currently registered.
• Maintains Basic Life support certification.
• Two years radiography experience.
• One-year MRI experience.
• Interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with patients whomaybe be under physical and/or emotional stress in order to gather andexchange routine patient information with peers, nursing, radiologistand provide.
