In this position the Medical Assistant will:

• Room patients
• Review and respond to messages per provider protocol
• Give injection and check glucose levels
• Upload patient devices such as glucose meters and pumps
• Clean exam rooms
• Complete documentation in the EMR
• Refill medications per protocol
• Order supplies

Required:

• Graduate of an accredited program
• Certified or Registered as Medical Assistant, or ability to obtain within 18 months
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong critical thinking abilities

Desired:

• Previous clinic experience in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Hormone Therapy
• Prefer CDE
• Great communication skills and experience with EMR
