Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Belmont University is seeking Youth Program Support Staff to care for children of families who are part of the Family Well-being Program, which offers food provision and wraparound services for low income families in the Nashville community.

Childcare services will mainly be offered on Thursday evenings and Saturdays and will be staffed by 2-3 people at all times. Staff will maintain a ratio of 1:6 and will ensure the safety of children between the ages of 12 months, 1 day to 18 years of age by providing age-appropriate and safe activities for them to engage in while their caretaker(s) is/are in clinic sessions. Activities and curriculum have already been developed by administrators at the Family Wellbeing Program. Caretaker(s) will remain on the premises during the childcare clinic. Staff must follow all check-in and check-out procedures to ensure the safety of all children and will assist with set-up and tear-down. Staff must be 18 or older and pass a background check.

Hours: Thursday evenings and Saturdays (staff will arrive 15 minutes prior to open and will stay 15 minutes after the clinic has concluded.

Compensation: $15.00 per hour
