Qualifications:Associates degree, equivalent credits or previous secretarial experience preferredKnowledge of general office procedures and equipmentKnowledgeable and proficient in Google DocumentsExcellent customer serviceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsFinancial account and supply management skillsAbility to organize and maintain consistent communication through websites and social mediaProfessionalism/ConfidentialityOrganization related to maintaining systems of documentation and communicationAbility to work well with middle school-aged studentsTeam Player Any additional qualifications deemed appropriateDuties include but are not limited to the following:Communicating with a diverse population of peopleReports to principal directlyKeeping a calendar, budgeting, letters, communication with staff/community, processing purchase orders and day-to-day operation of the office.Operating office equipment such as the phone system, intercom, fax machine, computers, copy machine etc.Ability to use technology for word processing, generating letters, emails, spreadsheets, and reports, and a working knowledge of Google Docs.Providing administrative support for special projectsExperience working in a school office/setting preferred
