Bellevue Health and Rehabilitation Center has several position open for a Certified Nurse Aides for all shifts. Our facility is family owned and operated with an excellent reputation for serving our residents needs for 60 plus years.
Certified Nurse Aides Responsibilities
· Help patients with personal hygiene and care such as bathing, grooming, and dressing, and bowel and bladder care
· Take and record patient vital signs and weight
· Observe and record patient’s conditions, food and liquid intake and other behavior, and report changes to supervisor
· Help patients walk with canes, walkers, or other devices
· Make beds, and maintain clean and safe environments for patients
· Lift, transport, and move patients using the appropriate techniques
· Treat all patients, family, and other visitors with respect, and engage with them in a tactful manner at all times
· Comply with all safety and health regulations
High school diploma or GED
Must hold current CNA certification in the state of practice
Prior work experience in a direct patient care setting or in a long term care facility preferred
Must be in good physical health to be able to lift and move patients, and to be able to walk or stand for long periods of time
Must be compassionate and personable
Strong attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments
Ability to handle emotional and stressful situations in a professional manner while remaining calm
