MARINE ATTENDANT / PORTER
Marine Attendant is responsible for the overall cleanliness of all vessel areas by performing duties in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. Assist guests in every way possible in order to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this job class and are not all inclusive to this position.)
Following department standard operating procedures, clean lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, ramps and stairways. Sweep and mop floors. Clean rugs, carpets upholstered furniture, and draperies. Dust furniture.
Wash walls, ceiling, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills. Replenish bathroom supplies.
Wipe down equipment as required; i.e. slot machines, gaming tables, chairs and stools.
Empty waste baskets, transport trash and waste to disposal area. Replenish supplies at the end of each shift.
Respond to calls for housekeeping problems.
Participate in safety briefings to understand the hazards in assigned tasks and how the risks of injury, property damage or chemical spill can be minimized.
Perform jobs with proper tools, supplies and personal protective equipment.
Perform jobs in ways that minimize the impact on guest services and protects guests and other team members from being exposed to hazards (e.g. posting warnings when floors are found to be slippery from spills or after being wet mopped, posting warnings when paint on a surface is wet.)
Participate in Emergency Response drills as directed by the ACOW or On-Scene Leader.
Participate in required Emergency Training to include Incipient Fire Training and First Aid/CPR
Comply with all Internal Controls, Company, departmental and safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
May be required to perform duties outside of their normal job description where, in the Company’s judgement it is necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity or improved guest service.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalency.
Valid Driver's License is a MUST
Must be able to effectively communicate in English via verbal and written
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Basic proficiency- Internet Explorer and /or other Internet Service Providers
