Job OverviewBellarmine, a dynamic and innovative Catholic high school in the Jesuit tradition, is seeking an experienced Educational Technology Integration Specialist. This full-time, 12-month position is designed for a visionary leader passionate about integrating technology into education to enhance teaching and learning outcomes and support school operations. The successful candidate will have a robust background in educational technology, instructional design for both adult and student learners, and a commitment to education innovation.
Core Functions And Duties
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive technology plan that aligns with the school's educational objectives and curriculum standards.
  • Partners with members of Educational Technology team in selection, acquisition, and integration of educational technologies and digital resources, with support of Vice Principal of Curriculum and Instruction, Digital Service Team and Vice Principal of Professional Development.
  • Provide professional development and training for faculty and staff on the effective use of technology in the classroom.
  • Manage and support the school's Learning Management System (LMS) and ensure its effective use for instructional delivery and student engagement.
  • Collaborate with the technology team to ensure the reliability and security of technology infrastructure and data.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and educational trends to enhance the school's technology offerings continually.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement among students and staff.
  • Collaborate with budget managers for educational technology and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of technology integration and make data-driven decisions for future initiatives.
  • Serve as a liaison between the school and external educational technology vendors, partners, and educational organizations.
  • Collaborate with instructional faculty to implement technology into their courses.
  • Organize professional development sessions for educational technology.
  • In collaboration with the Vice Principal of Professional Development and Formation Support faculty with device management and updating the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) in collaboration with the Dean of Student Life.
  • Manage new student and family setup and access to student technology.
  • Participate in weekly duties and responsibilities as a full high school community member.
  • Collaborate with the educational technology team and Instructional team in implementation of ISTE standards into full operation of the school.
  • Serve as a team member and contributor of Digital Services to support technology operations, networking and student/faculty support needs.
  • Support campus readiness for new school years to improve strong operations across all Bellarmine departments.
  • Support weekly/daily student/employee drop-in support.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Competencies/Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, or a related field preferred; Bachelor's degree required, or relevant skills and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in educational technology leadership, preferably in a 9-12 educational setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic technology plans.
  • Strong understanding of curriculum development and the pedagogical implications of technology in education.
  • Experience with various LMS, educational software, and digital resources.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Mac OS and iOS, Google Workspace, and various software, hardware, and peripherals for classroom use.
  • Strong understanding of the ISTE standards for student learning, educators, and leaders.
  • Dedicated to promoting a multicultural educational environment aligned to Bellarmine’s Catholic, Jesuit missions and values.
  • Embraces the Faith that Lives Justice standards and commitments.
  • Use of analytics as a model for identifying the future of technology in education.
Preferred Experiences
  • Desktop support experience.
  • Understanding of Windows operating system 10 and 11, and Mac OS X operating system.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP networking
  • Competency in iOS software and iPad functionality.
  • Current knowledge of available and emerging technologies, especially in mobile computing.
  • Multimedia expertise in the educational setting

  • Salary position
  • Salary Range: $77,619 to $97,024
