Bellaire Assisted Living and Memory Care located in Denton, Texas is a 2-year-old Assisted Living and Memory Care Community. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Life Enrichment Coordinator for our 2 beautiful homes. They will be planning activities and events for our residents and their families, as well as decorating, creating and publishing our monthly calendar of events. They will be responsible for conducting meaningful activities for our residents. The program includes providing both group, one-on-one, and self-directed activities for senior adults; many who are living with dementia.

We are seeking a dynamic, professional Life Enrichment Coordinator to join our team of assisted living and memory care team. The Life Enrichment Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, implementing, and evaluating our assisted living and memory care programming to enhance our resident’s experience, while developing, maintaining and cultivating relationships with community organizations, current residents, and their families.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide Activity Programming in both Assisted Living and Memory Care settings.
Conduct and participate in activities
Develop and implement life enrichment monthly calendar of events that meet our residents’ needs, provide fun and enrich their lives.
Update Families with images from activities and a calendar of events.
Plan, coordinate and facilitate life-enrichment activities based on the individual needs and interests of each resident.
Arranges special entertainment with and for residents

Coordinates all activities with Administrator, Kitchen, Wellness Coordinator and staff to keep them informed of all special events.
Facilitates socialization among residents and resident families.
Strengthen local community involvement through promotion of volunteerism among members of the community, residents and resident families.
Prepare and execute special projects as assigned by the Administrator or Management, i.e. Newsletter.
Attend and participate in staff meetings.
Participate in weekend management rotation.
Ability to participate in Admissions and Marketing as needed.
Maintain team focus and winning attitude with all staff.
