At Bella's Voice, a non-profit thrift store committed to supporting animals, we are experiencing an exciting period of expansion. We are looking for a dedicated Backroom Supervisor to guide our team and operations.

As a Backroom Supervisor, you will oversee backroom operations.

Your leadership will ensure the efficiency of the production team and donation team.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

*Lead, mentor, and develop team members, stepping in to fulfill production and donation duties as necessary. *Ensure smooth backroom operations by delegating tasks to team members. *Establish clear expectations, provide instruction and feedback, and identify opportunities for team development. *Address and resolve issues affecting team performance and workplace productivity. *Give excellent customer service to all patrons and contributors. *Oversee and ensure the timely completion of projects with effective planning and oversight. *Enhance team efficiency by evaluating employee performance outcomes. *Uphold a tidy and safe store environment, adhering to health and safety protocols. *Support a culture of safety by being vigilant and reporting any safety concerns.

Supervisory Roles:

*Fulfill managerial responsibilities in line with Bella’s Voice guidelines and legal standards, including recruitment, training, and direct staff supervision. *Conduct performance reviews, administer rewards and disciplinary actions, and resolve any employment issues, collaborating with Human Resources as necessary. *Managing backroom staff breaks/lunches *Handling donor complaints *Accepting/rejecting furniture items *Maintaining a clean and organized backroom *Checking merchandise prices and quality

Job Qualifications:

Successful candidates must demonstrate the ability to satisfactorily perform each critical task. The listed qualifications reflect the necessary competencies:

*Ability to lead and inspire a team focusing on development and productivity. *Practical problem-solving skills and the capability to provide excellent customer service. *Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment. *Highschool diploma or equivalent *1 year of supervisory experience *Thrift store experience preferred but not required

Schedule: Thursday - Monday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm

Pay:

$19.50

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $19.50 - $19.55/hour.
