Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of facilities. This is an important role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for both employees and visitors.

Duties:

- Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and window cleaning

- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas

- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly

- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished

- Perform floor care duties such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing floors

- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed

- Follow established safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

- Adhere to all company policies and procedures

-OTHER DUTIES AS NEED IT.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred

- Knowledge of custodial practices and techniques

- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and carpet cleaners

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required

- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively

-Must be in good presentation at all times.

Pay: $8.50 - $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
