Optometric technician performs a variety of tasks to assist the optometrist in routine and medical eye examinations. They record patient medical histories and help prepare the patient for the vision examination. They also assist with tests that help ensure the accurate diagnosis and treatment of a diseased eye such as taking optomap photos, tonometry, visual field, and optical coherence tomography. Assisting first time contact lens wearer by teaching the patient how to insert and remove lenses. Answering phones and scheduling patient appointments.

Need good computer skills for use with electronic medical records in optometry office setting - RevolutionEHR. Optometry office setting experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. This position is primarily at our 9 Mile Crossing location in Beulah. We are open Monday-Saturday.
