Job Summary:
The Quick Lube Technician at Bell & Bell GMC is responsible for providing efficient and high-quality automotive services to customers in our state of the art air conditioned shop. This individual will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, performing oil changes, tire rotations, and other basic maintenance tasks. The Quick Lube Technician must have a strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time hourly position in the auto industry. The Quick Lube Technician will receive a competitive hourly wage and will also have access to benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plans.
Responsibilities:
- Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and other basic maintenance tasks according to manufacturer specifications
- Complete all services within the given timeframe while maintaining high-quality work
- Inspect and test vehicle components for any potential issues and communicate findings to the service manager
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety and cleanliness protocols
- Keep track of inventory, supplies, and equipment in the service area
- Communicate with customers and provide excellent customer service, answering any questions or concerns and addressing them promptly
- Attend and complete all necessary training programs and certifications as required
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Quick Lube Technician or similar role in the auto industry
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow manufacturer specifications and guidelines
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Knowledge of basic automotive maintenance and repair procedures
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift heavy wheels and stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including some Saturdays
