Job Summary:

This position specializes in servicing of 1-4 Family Mortgage secured loans. This position is responsible for the processing and coordinating of all mail items received for the mortgage servicing department. Responsible for processing insurance critical mail on 1-4 family mortgage loans. This position will assist and provide coverage in escrow and insurance position duties.

Primary Duties:

• Update and maintain position procedures.
• Review investor requirements to ensure compliance with position duties.
• Process all mail, primarily insurance items, sent to the Mortgage Servicing Department
• Call and research on insurance cancellation notices. Prepares and mails a letter to customer if necessary.
• Accurately verify the compliance of the insurance requirements from the insurance certificate to the investor procedures. Notify management if insurance requirements are not met.
• Send mortgagee letter to insurance company/agency if applicable.
• Maintain the Black Knight MSP system with accurate and updated insurance certificate information.
• Assist and provide coverage in additional insurance and escrow process
• Process Condo report.
• Review and analyze escrow accounts or periodic reports/duties
• Handle customer inquiries regarding 1-4 Family 1st Mortgage loans.
• Know by name and face as many customers and employees as possible, calling them by name as often as possible.
• Know and practice LOCBUTN, our Golden Rules, and Bell Bank Customer Service Standards.
• Know, understand, and live the company values and bottom line.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Skills Required:

• Good working knowledge of rules, regulations and policies relating to mortgage loans.
• Detail oriented, organized, have excellent problem solving skills and math skills.
• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and work independently.
• Good communication skills to interact with other departments, lenders, customers, Mortgage Servicing staff, management and various insurance companies.
• Ability to be flexible and adapt well to change.
