Job Summary:

This position is responsible for providing application expertise, including but not limited to, common file maintenance testing/oversight, software upgrade application testing/oversight, researching deposit, and all payment application issues, and working with internal departments to understand system requirements/restraints for any new/updated requested changes within Signature UI.

Primary Duties:

  • Perform and verify testing of common file requests to ensure appropriate before placing changes into production.
  • Coordinate projects or testing that may affect the deposit operations departments.
  • Participate in project meetings and work on assigned projects.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to internal departments in regards to core processing, setup, and functionality across all payment channels and deposit account processing.
  • Complete end-of-year processing requirements including, but not limited to, reporting review, tax forms, correspondence and project tasks.
  • Serve as liaison between deposit operations and other departments where necessary.
  • Research and understand all systems used by Deposit Operations, providing support or recommendations for improvement in utilization of such systems.
  • Ensure processing issues are resolved timely to maintain established service levels.
  • Oversee accurate incident response on any fraud occurrences involving all payment channels.
  • Alert Deposit Business Process Manager of any fraud events and/or potential risks within the system.
  • Demonstrate commitment to ongoing education of each payment channel and illustrate knowledge on the applicable rules and regulations.
  • Follow established policies and procedures, accurately and efficiently to meet team quality standards.
  • Provide courteous, accurate and prompt assistance to coworkers or customers.
  • Work flexible hours to support the department needs to include after hours and weekends, if necessary.
  • Analyze and resolve technical problems quickly in a demanding environment while working with minimal supervision.
  • Know by name and face as many customers and employees as possible, calling them by name as often as possible.
  • Know and practice LOCBUTN, our Golden Rules, and Bell Bank Customer Service Standards.
  • Know, understand, and live the company values and bottom line.
  • Conduct activities consistent with established Bell Bank policies, procedures and systems, the Bell Bank Employee Conduct policies, the Bank Secrecy Act and all applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
  • All employees are responsible for information security, including compliance with policies and standards which protect sensitive information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Skills Required:

  • B.A. / B.S. in accounting or business.
  • Experience in payment channels and core applications is preferred.
  • Five or more years of bank operations experience preferred.
  • Accredited certification(s) in banking preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, research, analytical and problem-solving skill essential.
  • Knowledge of and proficiency in using personal computers and related software programs including, but not limited to, Windows and Microsoft Office.
