BELL Ambulance has been in operation since 1977 and has grown to be the largest provider of ambulance service in the State of Wisconsin, responding to more than 100,000 ambulance calls annually.In this role you will perform duties associated with providing emergency and non-emergency medical care and transportation to the sick and injured in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations and Bell Ambulance Policies.How you will contribute:Provide high quality client care by utilizing appropriate diagnostic tools based on assessmentPerform proper treatment modalities based on internal and external protocolsEstablish good rapport with clients, their families, and the healthcare communityMaintain HIPAA privacy laws and discretion with sensitive informationCommunicate effectively and efficiently to ensure smooth operation and quality careProvide accurate and complete trip documentation, both clinically and demographicallyPerform regular station and squad maintenance, paying special attention to areas of safetyParticipate in the ‘pit stop’ process ensuring all need supplies and equipment are present and in good working orderObtain, then maintain all licensures and training required by the State of Wisconsin for this positionDemonstrate the ability to operate company vehicles safely, exhibiting knowledge of proper driving procedures and response tacticsOther necessary job tasks as assigned
Education/Training/ExperienceMinimum of either a high school diploma or GEDCurrent/valid State of Wisconsin EMT-B licenseCurrent/valid American Heart Association CPR card or similar curriculum certificationCurrent/Valid Driver’s LicenseNREMT license desirable but not required
Additional RequirementsPerform with a high level of professionalism at all timesMust possess tact, patience, and a positive attitudeAbility to function productively in individual and team environments, and in potentially highly stressful situationsMust be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift in a safe manner, a minimum of 125 poundsMust meet fitness for duty requirements set forth by the policies of the Company, which may include a medical and physical evaluation
