Job Summary
Do you thrive on optimizing inventory, driving sales, and leading high-performing teams? We seek a Director of Replenishment and Reporting to own and execute our strategic vision for inventory management across the organization. You will be a highly technical, data-driven leader with a proven record of building and implementing robust replenishment systems, fostering a collaborative culture, and maximizing the value of our technology to achieve operational excellence. In this role you will be responsible for managing and developing a team of five dedicated to setting and executing appropriate replenishment strategies and developing, creating, and utilizing analysis tools to increase sales, maximizing inventory turn, and minimizing markdowns.

Job Functions

• Craft and execute the organization’s replenishment strategies to the stores, with a mindset of driving gross margin and inventory productivity.
• Familiar with different types of technology: ex Oracle(RMS), SAS Forecasting, Blue Yonder, Python, Tableau, SQL is a plus, MicroStrategy, and other Business Intelligence tools.

• Maintain close relationships with GMMs, DMMs and VPs of Planning/ inventory management to understand overall business strategies, and how replenishment can be used to drive business results and create seamless inventory flow

• Work closely with teams on specific replenishment strategies by office

• Develop and oversee replenishment training to the merchandising organization, and represent replenishment in vendor meetings as needed

• Actively participate in the Monthly Forecast and Monday Meeting process to present a point of view on replenishment trends and receipt forecasts

• Partner with Logistics/Transportation organization to identify supply chain opportunities.
• Demonstrate proficient command of holding technical conversations with our technology team and bridge the gap between business needs and systems.

• Identify and direct the development of new and upgraded systems to support the Planning, Inventory Management and Replenishment processes.
• Lead and mentor five Replenishment and Forecast Analysts.
• Experienced with Data Management and proficient in Analytics.

Minimum Education & Experience:

• 7 years of experience in inventory management and/or replenishment in a retail or e-commerce setting. 
• Proven success in developing and implementing data-driven replenishment strategies. 
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience mentoring and coaching direct reports. 
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. 
• Proficiency in inventory management systems, forecasting tools, and data analysis platforms. 

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in business-related computer software (Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel)

• Experience with dynamic replenishment systems

• Strong technical skills and ability to mine large amounts of data for actionable insights

• Excellent analytical and reasoning skills

• Aggressive in pursuing opportunities and driving inventory management excellence

• Creative in finding opportunities and solving problems

• Innate curiosity, constantly looking internally and externally for better ways to do the job
