JOB SUMMARY
The Production Maintenance Team Lead plays a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating maintenance activities within the organization. This position is responsible for leading a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring the proper functioning of equipment, implementing preventive maintenance programs, and managing maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize operational efficiency.

REPORTING STRUCTURE
The Production Maintenance Team Lead operates within the Production Department and reports directly to the Maintenance Manager, Americas. They bear full responsibility for achieving agreed-upon goals and objectives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
Plan, schedule, and prioritize maintenance activities to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
Oversee the implementation of preventive maintenance programs to maintain equipment reliability and extend asset life.
Coordinate with production and other departments to address maintenance needs and schedule downtime for repairs.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions to restore functionality promptly.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and inventory levels.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all maintenance operations.
Collaborate with vendors and contractors to obtain quotes, schedule repairs, and coordinate external maintenance services.
Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements or upgrades to enhance reliability and efficiency.
Manage budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs and address potential issues proactively.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the maintenance team, encouraging innovation and best practices.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in maintenance management or a similar lead role.
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
Good working knowledge of Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) Systems, Shuttle Systems, tote and pallet conveyors, bin stackers\de-stackers.
Proficiency in CMMS, MS Office Suite, SAP.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, able to motivate and develop a team.
Exceptional interpersonal abilities with a focus on customer satisfaction are essential.
Problem solving abilities and a proactive approach to maintenance management.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in industrial maintenance.
Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing priorities.
Experience working in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
Must be able to climb a ladder to 40ft with safety harness and be comfortable at that height.
The base pay for this position ranges from $80,000 - $95,000 annually with a target performance bonus of 10% of an employee’s annual base salary.
