Belfair Dental Care is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Bluffton, SC

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with the dentist and dental hygienist to provide quality oral healthcare to our patients. Your role will involve assisting with various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a clean and organized dental office environment.

Duties:

- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures

- Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments and equipment

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including passing instruments, suctioning, and providing patient support

- Take and develop dental x-rays as directed by the dentist

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide post-operative instructions

- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar

- Assist with dental receptionist duties as needed, including answering phone calls, greeting patients, and handling paperwork

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required

- No experience or RDA degree required
