This position is the first and last person who our clients interact with, setting the tone for the client satisfaction and comfort through positive energy and helpful problem solving for schedules and payments. Your scheduling affects the whole hospital and can set up for a successful day or a nightmare day, and anything in between. There is more to reception than taking phone calls and payments, and we are looking for someone to come help us make well organized days full of happy clients and busy happy staff.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

Maintain the visual appeal of the hospital reception area, greet and welcome clients and patients, answer questions and triage client concerns, answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution, schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow, check in and check out clients and process payments. Our receptionists offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need to our clients and must be comfortable with various medical outcomes.

Preferred Experience

Experienced Receptionist with 2-years veterinary reception experience preferred

Experience with Avimark Hospital Management system

Experience scheduling clients and blocking off schedules based on weekly hospital events

Experience coordinating with nurses to confirm and checkout patients
