Job Responsibilities
- Study time, motion, methods, and speed involved in maintenance, production, and other operations to establish standardbproduction rate and improve efficiency.
- Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.
- Responsible for supporting production processes and machines.
- Works as part of a team of engineers that develop and maintain manufacturing processes
- Assist machine operators with machine faults, recoveries, and setups
- Responsible for documenting process changes
- Maintain engineering documentation: Control plans, Tool lists, etc.
- Troubleshoot and correct causes for nonconforming parts
- Bachelors in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering or equivalent degree with 1 years of experience is preferred OR
- Associate degree with 3 years" of experience OR
- 8 years" experience in lieu of education
- Experience with CNC machining
- Experience with indicating a tool/part
- Demonstrated problem solving capability
- Must be self-motivated and must be able to hold themselves accountable
- Must have situational awareness and emotional intelligence
- Ability to listen and to follow direction and ask for help when/if needed
- G-code writing capability
- Experience with precision grinding and/or honing
- CAM experience
