Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Plumbing Department Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional sales acumen, and a comprehensive understanding of plumbing systems and services. This individual will be responsible for managing all aspects of the plumbing department, including sales, scheduling, bidding, vendor relations, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive sales of plumbing services including water treatment, sewer digs, bathroom remodels, and other plumbing solutions.
• Schedule and coordinate all plumbing work, ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity.
• Bid on plumbing projects accurately and competitively to secure new business opportunities.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the plumbing department, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors to negotiate the best pricing and terms for materials and supplies.
• Handle customer complaints and inquiries promptly and effectively, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Provide leadership and guidance to plumbing technicians, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in plumbing services, with proven sales and management experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of plumbing systems and services.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven track record of driving sales and achieving targets.
• Proficiency in bidding software and project management tools.
• Valid plumbing license/certification preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
