Production Assistant Manager

Production Assistant Manager

This position is for someone who would like to build a career with a 60-year-old, Rhode Island company who does business, with many of the largest international companies throughout the World. This role involves organizing, and coordinating production activities to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery of products.

· Monitor inventory levels, assess supply vendors, and ensure delivered supplies meet quality standards.

· Contact vendors, place orders, verify supplies, manage supply requisition, and communicate with suppliers to determine expected delivery dates and inform Project Managers of potential delays.

· Ensure interdepartmental communication for improved coordination of productive operations.

· Monitor project delivery timelines, check work quality against company requirements and specifications.

· Collaborate with sales and production for updates on delivery timelines.

· Compile, record and report project data and progress to management and key stakeholders.

· Math and analytical ability

· Proficiency in spreadsheet software, inventory management tools and accounting applications, such as QuickBooks

· Excellent time management skills

Job Type: Full-time

· Salary Base 50-65K, with yearly bonus opportunity
