We are seeking qualified candidates for our Electrical Field Service Technician opportunity to join our Williamston, Michigan team! This position is responsible for technical service and customer support for blow molding machinery, including repair and maintenance on equipment and training of the customer by performing the following duties:

Provides technical assistance to customer by repairs or replaces failed components; installs retrofit parts and devices on blow molding equipment.

Reviews mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics to identify malfunction.

Inspects equipment and components for proper function.

Adjusts parts and devices and control instruments using various hand tools and instruments.

Assists Production, Application, and Engineering as required.

Completes field service report outlining work performed, furnishing Bekum management and customer with copies.

Travels to USA and international locations fifty percent (50%) of the time on average to service, train, and supply technical support.

Supports Bekum’s products and services to ensure customer satisfaction.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two (2) year college or technical school; or ideally, a technical degree in a relevant field from a four (4) year college. Or minimum two (2) to three (3) years’ experience in blow molding or related experience in a relevant area; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
