Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team. As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation, including user manuals, guides, and instructional materials. Your role will involve collaborating with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy in the documentation. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise written content.

Duties:

- Research, write, edit, and proofread technical documentation for various audiences

- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy of content

- Organize and structure information in a logical and user-friendly manner

- Create diagrams and visual aids

- Review and update existing documentation to reflect changes in products or processes

- Ensure consistency in terminology and writing style across all documentation

- Conduct usability testing to gather feedback on the effectiveness of documentation

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in technical writing

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

- Proven experience as a Technical Writer or similar role

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong research and analytical skills

- Proficiency in word processing software (e.g., Microsoft Word)

- Familiarity with diagramming tools (e.g., Visio) is a plus

- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
