Beier Integrated Systems manufacture’s computer based control and monitoring systems. We are in search of field technicians to be based out of our Gray, LA location. We will provide training specific for our products and invite applicants from other industries to apply!

Essential Job Functions

• Troubleshoot, inspect, diagnose, repair, and service proprietary and competitor generator components to include breakers, shutdown switches, wiring harnesses, alternators, and battery systems.
• Increase technical knowledge of trouble shooting, root cause analysis, electrical control maintenance standards, low/medium/high voltage and arc resistant theory, and on‐site field estimation.
• Promote cost reductions, drive accurate maintenance and service estimations, and increase part sales by consulting with other related team members.
• Candidate should possess a good understanding of computer hardware and networking and the ability to diagnose and repair computer hardware failures and network issues.

Job Requirements:

• Possession of a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Prior experience with and/or exposure to PLC systems, shipyard, marine, or offshore environments is beneficial, but it is not required as we provide training specifically for our products.
• Experience with PLC systems preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to climb stairs and ladders as necessary for job duties.
• Must be capable of lifting up to 35lbs.
