BEI Construction is seeking an experienced equipment professional to join their team. This role will oversee and manage day-to-day operations of our equipment fleet and report directly to our head technician. Travel to other office locations and jobsites throughout the Bay Area will be required.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Schedules and coordinates delivery and return of owned equipment
• Ensures equipment is tracking properly and billed to the correct job
• Managing truck drivers’ schedules and routes
• Scheduling equipment to be picked up and delivered
• Providing shipping details to customers/ Pm's
• Documenting all calls, deliveries, routes and times for pickups and deliveries
• Completing paperwork related to shipments, such as invoices and inspections
• Handling customer complaints and inquiries
• Negotiating rates and delivery time lines
• Maintains equipment list and database in Microsoft Excel or other database tools.
• Reviews quotes and estimates from business partners.
• Schedules and coordinates delivery and return of rental equipment.
• Keeps track of equipment records including new and existing equipment as well as transfers and disposals.
• Ensures maintenance schedules are properly aligned to not disrupt business.
• Helps Equipment Technicians by scheduling or performing preventative and scheduled maintenance and repairs on a fleet of cars, trucks, and industrial equipment.
• Prepares and documents equipment maintenance reports.
• Manages equipment costs to be allocated to projects

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience managing equipment 
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Valid CA driver license
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
