Job Summary

Order Picker I is responsible for accurately picking, packing, and palletizing customer orders, preparing them for shipment, and ensuring timely delivery to meet customer demands. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule | Pay

• Monday - Friday 1:00 - 9:00pm (during the summer, hours will change in the fall)
• $18.50 per hour

Duties | Responsibilities

• Accurately assemble customer orders based off a pre-established pick ticket.
• Operate pallet jack and wrapping equipment.
• Accurately identify all product items.
• Keep the warehouse and all work areas clean and orderly.
• Adhere to safety protocols, procedures, and guidelines while operating warehouse equipment to prevent accidents, injuries, or damage to products.
• Collaborate with warehouse team members, supervisors, and other departments to coordinate order fulfillment activities, prioritize tasks, and meet daily production targets.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills | Abilities

• Ability to read, write, and count accurately
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to operate pallet jack and wrapping equipment
• Ability to be cross trained in other warehouse duties as required

Education | Experience

• Previous warehouse/distribution experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, sit, and walk
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
