Behind the Design is Hiring an Interior Design Consultant Near Boston, MA

We are seeking a driven Interior Design Consultant to join our interior design team in South Boston!

As a Interior Design Consultant you will design high-end custom window treatments for our clients working with products ranging from shutters, shades, and draperies.

What You Do Best:

You will work with clients in their homes to gain a deep understanding of their custom window-covering visions and bring them to life. During in-home consultations, you will educate clientele on why we are the best choice and guide them to make the best decisions for their homes and lifestyle.

  • Compensation structures available: Base plus commission or 100% Commission
  • TRUE earning potential from $75k - $100k annually
  • Quarterly and annual bonus structure

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm (flexible schedule and weekend work available if desired)

Your Day:

  • Own the relationship with the client during your in-home sales consultation
  • Exhibit product expertise and the ability to advise clients on all parts of their design needs
  • Utilize a vast array of fabrics and textiles to create one-of-a-kind custom window treatment designs
  • Drive sales through your impeccable presentations and product knowledge
  • Provide estimates and go over timelines with client to build trust and project understanding
  • Follow-up with clients after installation to build relationships and repeat business

Your Background:

  • 3 years of a successful interior design background in sales
  • Experience with window treatments a MUST
  • You are passionate about the luxury interior design industry
  • You are skilled at managing client expectations
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs
