We are a leading provider of therapy services for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities, providing services in homes, schools, and centers. Behavioral Transformations has experienced rapid growth due to our focus on clinically driven therapy with an emphasis placed on a strong partnership with both parents and educators. We are excited to now be offering occupational therapy services to our clients! Flexibility with scheduling and service delivery is a must to fit this position. We are seeking a licensed occupational therapist to join our dynamic team.

Requirements:

· Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

· Must have a valid Texas license to practice as an OT. Be in good standing with the Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners (ECPTOTE) and be in good standing with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)

· One year of experience with pediatrics preferred.

· Must have a valid NPI and CAQH

· Organized and efficient, detail-oriented, and flexible

· Positive and professional team player

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Able to safely complete all physical tasks involved in working with playful children and handling equipment

· Reliable transportation to travel between clinics

Job duties include but are not limited to the following:

·Complete formal occupational therapy evaluations/re-evaluations involving clinical observation, standardized assessment(s), and caregiver report

·Develop individualized OT plan of care for each client based on their OT evaluation

· Implement evidence-based and individualized occupational therapy intervention based on each client’s OT plan of care

· Hold full-time caseload and keep up with frequent documentation (daily notes, progress reports, discharge summaries, etc.)

· Ensure all data recorded is correct, concise, and clear

· Diligently monitor each client’s progress and update each client’s OT plan of care as needed

· Communicate frequently with caregivers, providing education and recommendations for home programming

· Create materials (i.e. visual aids, visual schedules, sensory diets, etc.) as needed for carryover of skills/abilities into the home setting

·Participate in staff development training and interdisciplinary meetings

· Assist the Director of Occupational Therapy in daily clinic functions as needed

· Travel between clinic locations to conduct OT evaluations and provide OT services as needed

· Potentially supervise OT assistant via signing off on notes and discussing caseload to offer clinical guidance as needed
