Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Direct Care - Residential Worker in the Residential program at Behavioral Health Network!

We have openings in all shifts and days and multiple locations around the Pioneer Valley-Western Mass!

  • Direct Care Workers provide direct services to individuals in group homes that support the growth, independence, and safety of individuals in all settings.
  • They monitor their overall health and well-being by assisting and monitoring daily living and encouraging independence, competency and decision-making.
  • Direct Care Workers initiate, support and ensure quality of life through empowerment, safety awareness, respect and dignity.
  • Assist with all aspects of medication treatment, and provide related activities to document and support the services provided to individuals.
  • Provide crisis intervention and emergencies.
  • Plan and provide opportunities for community activities and maintain, enhance and foster social support networks and relationships.

In the Residential Support Services program at BHN, we provide 24-hour staffed residential services, community day support, individual and family support services, a social club, and an advocacy program.

Direct Care - Residential Workers at Behavioral Health Network have the following qualities :

  • Commitment to empowerment and growth, human rights, and community integration of individuals / persons served (required) .
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. (required).
  • Valid driver's license and a reliable car available for working hours (required).
  • Minimum of six months experience in human services (preferred).
  • Training is provided by BHN.
