Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a DCF Links Clinician in the Community Wraparound program at Behavioral Health Network

The Clinician is an outreach position that provides high quality clinical services to youth under the age of 18 with behavioral health needs. The Clinician works with youth and caregivers on establishing relationships to promote healthy functioning in the home, family therapy, and collateral consultation to children and families referred to the program by the Department of Children and Families (DCF) for stabilization services.

Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support the Community Wraparound program with the following:

Providing stabilization support services including family therapy, crisis intervention and management, risk management/safety planning, care coordination, parent skill-building/behavior management training, and support based on sound clinical theories and principles.
In collaboration with the Therapeutic Training and Support Worker, providing high quality community-based care to youth and families in the community such as in homes, health care clinics, schools, and other community settings as determined with the family.
Involving all pertinent family members and natural supports in treatment planning and care coordination as appropriate.
Providing comprehensive risk management/safety plans and takes appropriate actions to keep youth and others safe.
Completing intake paperwork and safety plan and a comprehensive home-based assessment inclusive of the CANS.
Submitting required documentation, on time and in accordance with applicable rules and regulations for the program.
Developing a treatment plan with the youth and family.
Maintaining regular communication with DCF and Family Networks to coordinate care.
Maintaining direct service volume and performance objectives as established by the program.

What are we looking for in a DCF Links Clinician?

  • Master’s Degree in a license-eligible behavioral health field required.
  • Must be CANS-MA certified.
  • Minimum experience of 1 year working with children, adolescents, and families required.
  • Bilingual English Spanish Speaker Required
  • Must have broad knowledge of mental illness diagnoses, and diverse treatment techniques including family therapy.
  • Must have familiarity with internet, word processing, and email systems.
  • Experience in navigating any of the child/family-serving systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of community resources preferred.
  • Demonstrates cultural competence in dealing with clients with a variety of different cultural backgrounds.
  • Must have a valid Massachusetts driver’s license and reliable vehicle for all working hours.
