Behavioral Health Network, Inc. is Hiring a CCS Clinician Near Springfield, MA

Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Clinician in the CCS Respite program at Behavioral Health Network!

The Clinician for Community Crisis Stabilization provides direct clinical, supervisory and consultative services to program participants, families, staff and providers. The Clinician is able to perform intakes, comprehensive assessments, treatment and aftercare planning for participants in the program.

What are we looking for in a CCS Clinician?

  • Providing high quality community-based care to all individuals.
  • Maintaining CCS census to capacity.
  • Performing and documenting comprehensive assessment, Crisis plan, including risk assessment, diagnosis, mental status, social functioning.
  • Interacting with providers and significant others to assess individual’s needs and current situation.
  • Determining and implementing treatment and referral response, based on assessment, using least restrictive alternative.
  • Completing paperwork in clear, timely manner in order to document assessment and disposition results.
  • Facilitating psycho-educational groups appropriate for CCS program.
  • Maintaining job effectiveness under changing conditions.
  • Identifying, analyzing, solving problems as they arise in performance of duties.
  • Triaging work flow for site, attending to daily schedule.
  • Consulting regularly to ESPs for purpose of referral and treatment planning of program participants or potential participants.
  • Conducting daily case meetings for treatment and disposition planning with program staff and collateral providers.
  • Developing individual’s discharge plans and writes discharge summaries.
  • Overseeing treatment planning for program participants during shift
Qualification/Requirements:
  • Graduate of clinical Master’s Degree program (preferred) or Bachelor’s Degree with equivalent job experience.
  • Licensed or license eligible, (preferred).
  • Experience with a variety of treatment approaches for various behavioral health issues.
  • Crisis or inpatient experience preferred.
  • Plans, organizes, and makes decisions, related to areas of responsibilities.
  • Possesses knowledge and motivation to work with a behavioral health population.
  • Performs interviewing and assessment skills, mental status exam and risk assessment.
  • Excellent organizational and team management skills.
  • Manages complex clinical dilemmas with team consultation.
  • Establishes rapport with psychiatric individuals, family members, providers.
  • Possesses excellent writing, observation, critical thinking skills.
