Patient Registration Coordinator
Location: Tempe, AZ, 85282
Job Description:
The Patient Registration Coordinator is responsible for registering patients for medical services and ensuring that all necessary information is collected and entered accurately into the system. The coordinator will also be responsible for verifying insurance coverage and obtaining necessary authorizations for services. The coordinator will work closely with patients, medical staff, and insurance companies to ensure that all necessary information is obtained and that patients receive the care they need.
Responsibilities:
- Register patients for medical services
- Collect and enter patient information accurately into the system
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for services
- Work closely with patients, medical staff, and insurance companies to ensure that all necessary information is obtained
- Ensure that patients receive the care they need
- Answer patient questions and provide assistance as needed
- Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a medical office or hospital setting preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer programs
