Behavior Matters is Hiring a Human Resources Specialist Near Papillion, NE

We are looking for a Human Resources Specialist who models our core values: collaboration, integrity, and accountability. They will take the lead with a full-cycle Recruitment, provide onsite support with scheduling, and maintain personnel-related records (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates, etc.) to meet all employment requirements. The HR Specialist will work in-office at our Omaha clinic and provide remote support to our other locations as needed. Responsibilities will include:

  • Full-cycle recruitment for the company (vetting, phone screening, scheduling interviews, maintaining job ads, checking references, coordinating with HRC to ensure we are staff at all times, sending out offer letters.)
  • Responding to internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests and assisting.
  • Redirecting phone calls or distributing correspondence to the appropriate person on the team.
  • Scheduling and approving time off requests and availability changes.
  • Communicating with clients’ caregivers to confirm scheduling changes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Preferred Requirements of the Position:

  • Experience as a recruiter is preferred
  • One year of experience as an HR Coordinator / Administrator / Assistant is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly capable in email, Google Workspace, and related business and communication tools.
  • Fantastic organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
