Job Title: Security Guard for Weekend Nights (Friday & Saturday)

Company: Beer Baron Whiskey Bar & Kitchen - Pleasanton 

Pay Rate: $30-$40/hour

We are a popular restaurant and bar located in Pleasanton, CA, known for our excellent food, delightful ambiance, and great entertainment. We are currently seeking a professional and dedicated Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, assets, staff, and patrons on Friday and Saturday nights.

Responsibilities: Monitor and control access at building entrances on Friday and Saturday nights. Checking identification of any patro who enters the property to make sure they are 21 years old. Respond to any incidents and investigate disturbances. Circulate among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect property. Warn persons of rule infractions or violations, and apprehend or evict violators from premises, using force when necessary. Ensure all safety protocols are adhered to by staff and patrons. Collaborate with police, fire, and emergency medical personnel when required. Document and report daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. 

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of security experience, preferably in a restaurant/bar setting. Must possess a valid security guard license. Must be available to work Friday and Saturday nights. Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols. Surveillance skills and detail orientation. Integrity and professionalism. Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm in the face of adversity. Must pass background and drug tests.

Physical Requirements: Must be physically able to lift, carry, push, pull, and balance weights up to 50 pounds. * Must be physically able to stand and walk for an extended period.
