We are seeking a Facility Engineer responsible for overseeing the design, construction, and maintenance of our gas turbine test facilities. This individual acts as a liaison between the facility department and engineering teams, ensuring that the facility meets the technical requirements for testing while adhering to safety and regulatory standards. The role requires a blend of technical expertise in engineering and facility management, strong project management skills, communication abilities, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Responsibilities:
•Coordinate with various stakeholders, including facility management, engineering teams, and external contractors.
•Bridge the communication gap between the facility department and engineering teams.
•Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
•Work closely with engineering teams to understand technical specifications and requirements for test cell design
•Analyze and document facility requirements, including space, utilities, safety features, and environmental considerations.
•Support the execution of component and engine test activities. This includes design and construction of systems to support testing.
•Support design reviews and coordinate with other disciplines in design, performance, controls, and system analysis to develop appropriate test systems
•Collaborate with design, build and engineer teams to ensure the facility design aligns with industry standards and best practices.
•Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during testing.
•Maintain detailed documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
•Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and proposed solutions.
•Stay informed about advancements in gas turbine technology and facility design to incorporate relevant updates.
•Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance once test cells are operational.
Qualifications:
•Experience in designing or building test cells is crucial for this role to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the specific challenges and requirements involved in such projects.
•Knowledge of facility design, HVAC systems, utilities, and safety standards in industrial settings.
•Familiarity with industry codes and regulations related to facility construction and gas turbine testing.
•Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations applicable to industrial facilities, particularly those related to gas turbine testing.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with engineering teams, facility management, vendors, and other stakeholders.
•Ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address challenges during the design and construction phases.
•Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to facility systems.

In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this position is $100,000-$140,000 base salary. Please note that wage information is a general guideline only, and we will consider factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, and market conditions when extending an offer.
