Bee Focus IOP and Wellness Clinic is Hiring a Psychiatric Technician Near Houston, TX

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Technician to join our mental health facility. The ideal candidate will assist in the care and treatment of individuals with mental illnesses or developmental disabilities.

Job Location: 9896 Bissonnet, Suite 210, Houston, Texas 77036

**Duties:**

- Transport patients to and from the facility in company provided transportation

- Monitor patients' physical and emotional well-being under the supervision of medical staff

- Assist patients with daily living activities

- Develops a lesson plan in accordance with company policy

-Leads small group exercises

- Assist with Intake, when necessary

- Assist with Case Management, when necessary

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

- Document patient behavior and interactions

- Participate in treatment planning meetings

- Provide crisis intervention when necessary

- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients

**Requirements:**

- High school diploma or equivalent required

- MUST HAVE A DRIVER LICENSE

- Certification as a Psychiatric Technician is a plus

- Previous experience working in a psychiatric setting is desirable

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations

- Knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment methods
