Seeking a Nursing Home Administrator interested in a long term care facility in Pottsville.

We are searching for someone who is dedicated to delivering quality clinical care to our residents as well as providing a great place for our staff to work.

If you are a passionate and dedicated Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) who strives to improve the lives of its residents every day, then we want to meet you!

Position Summary: The Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) is also responsible for ensuring that the highest degree of quality care is being provided to our residents while managing the daily financial operations of the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Plans, develops, organizes, and directs the facility’s daily operations.
  • Makes routine inspections of the facility and assures that established policies and procedures are followed at all times.
  • Represents the facility in dealings with outside agencies, including governmental agencies and third-party payers.
  • Maintains an effective and timely communication with residents, families and staff.
  • Reviews and develops a plan of correction for deficiencies noted during survey inspections.
  • Manages an excellent public relations program that serves the best interest of the facility and community alike.
  • Maintains an excellent working relationship with the medical profession and other healthcare related facilities and organizations.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (health care or business administration preferred)
  • Must be a Pennsylvania Licensed Nursing Home Administrator
  • Three (3) years' experience managing a nursing facility/long-term care required
  • Experience working in a high-volume admissions environment is preferred.
