Salary: Starting at $13.50 per hour, but can earn up to $15 per hour (Ask me how)

Shift Type: Full-time evenings 2pm-10pm or 3pm-11pm with every other weekend

The Housekeeping Aide provides cleaning services to provide a safe, sanitary, comfortable and homelike environment for residents, staff and the public. Housekeeping services provided are in accord with facility policies and procedures and consistent with state and federal laws and regulations to maintain an environment that enhances the quality of life for residents

The Laundry Aide washes, folds, sorts, stores, processes and transports laundry and linen throughout the facility so that supplies are available to meet resident needs. Laundry services are provided in accord with facility policies and procedures and in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations to enhance resident comfort and enhance the quality of life. In addition to the basic job duties, the Lead Laundry Aide is responsible for assisting in the training of new team members and performing department audits. 

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE

·Education: Sufficient to demonstrate functional literacy

·Certificate/Licenses: None.

·Work Experience: Prior housekeeping experience in an institutional setting preferred.

·Freedom from illegal use of drugs, and freedom from use and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

·Persons who have been found guilty by a court of law of abusing, neglecting or mistreating individuals in a health care related setting are ineligible for employment in this position.
