The Landscape Production Manager’s primary focus is to manage the landscape crews, maintain and manage department equipment, and oversee the landscape installation and maintenance process from project scheduling to project completion.
Responsibilities
· Follow project design and job orders from conception to completion.
· Direct all aspects of landscape installation operations.
· Schedule site visits for landscape crews.
· Manage landscape production staff within the parameters of current landscape budget.
· Assist in employee recruitment, hiring and termination as necessary.
· Oversee training, training materials, and processes for production staff.
· Manage department equipment including, but not limited to power tools, hand tools, and vehicles, and ensure they are properly used and maintained.
· Maintain client relations after project kick-off and resolve issues in a timely manner.
· Ensure all project work complies with required standards and regulations.
· Order hard good materials in a timely manner for jobs.
· Schedule pre-job and post-job meetings.
· Completes quality control checks of project sites.
· Perform apartment check once monthly of H2B apartment to confirm cleanliness and upkeep.
· Participate in bi-weekly Landscape Team Meetings.
· Perform all other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience & Skills

· At least 3 years of landscape and hardscape experience in a supervisory role
· A working knowledge of landscape construction, including grading, drainage, hardscape installation, and the ability to read and understand elevations on site plans.
· Verbal and written communication skills to be an effective team member, to provide excellent customer service, and to maintain job documentation.
· Extensive horticulture knowledge including identification of perennial and woody plants.
· Experience in estimating overruns and change orders required.
· Computer proficiency required.
· Ability to drive a skid steer, dump truck, and trailer.
· Valid PA driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Physical & Cognitive Demands
· Ability to stand, bend, lift, and kneel.
· Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
· Valid PA Driver’s License, clean driving record and reliable transportation.
