The Millwork/Architectural Draftsperson presents an exceptional skill set in CAD drafting, engineering, and 3D modeling. This is a team player role involved in the forefront of every project for design direction and engineering methods. They create, review, and distribute technical drawings and cut files for any project.
They contribute to keeping the department's assigned tasks on pace and prioritizations according to the production schedule. They are responsible for troubleshooting any unforeseen situations.

This position operates out of our facility in Easton PA - remote work is not available.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
Demonstrates experience using AutoCAD to draft, engineer, and create CNC geometry for commercial and residential millwork projects involving a wide range of materials including solid wood, sheet goods, metal, stone, glass, upholstery, and plastics.
Demonstrates knowledge of AutoCAD best practices and advanced features including:

- Annotation Scaling
- Sheet Set Manager
- Dynamic Blocks
- Basic LISP routines
- Fields and system variables for automated annotation
- Demonstrates a deep understanding of:
- Cabinetry standards
- Architectural door standards
- GC construction methods
- Understands the level of detail necessary to present at each phase of a project (what do clients need to see? What does the shop need to see?)
- Demonstrates experience coordinating kitchen equipment, lighting and other third party products with millwork
- Specifies appropriate hardware materials for each job and documents them rigorously in hardware and material schedules
Experience in one or more of the following areas is a must:
- General Contracting
- Cabinet Making
- Millwork Foreman
- CNC Programmer or Machinist
Experience with one or more of the following programs is a plus:
- Microvellum
- WoodCADCAM
- CabinetVision
- RouterCIM
- AlphaCAM
- MasterCAM
