BEDI Partnerships is Hiring a Product Design Intern - Conversion Near San Francisco, CA

This hybrid position requires two days per week in our San Francisco office.

About you 

You’re an analytical problem-solver ready to put your skills toward purposeful work that has a global impact. You want to lead the way in innovation, exploring the latest technologies and finding new solutions. About this role 

As an intern on our conversion team you will support our team and efforts around creating experiences that help learners find the right learning product based on their needs. You will work collaboratively with your mentor, the rest of the design team, as well as other functions.You will be helping us communicate the value of Udemy’s learning platform to new customers, make it easy for tech professionals to dive right into learning, and help Learning & Development professionals find the right learning products for their teams.

What you'll be doing

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribution to the process of defining, designing new features in a highly collaborative agile environment
  • Create sketches, wireframes, and mockups to visualize design concepts and user interactions
  • Utilize design and design thinking software such as Figma (and brainstorming tools like Miro) to develop high-fidelity designs and prototypes.
  • Iterate and refine designs based on feedback from team members, stakeholders, and user feedback
  • Assist in creating design documentation, including specifications, user flows, and design guidelines
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product design.

What you’ll have

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Industrial Design, Product Design, Graphic Design, or a related field
  • Broad set of design skills and be motivated to learn
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creative design solutions, attention to detail, and proficiency in design tools and software
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively articulate design ideas and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Passion for design and innovation, with a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of design principles, human-centered design methodologies, and usability principles
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
  • Previous internship or project experience in product design or related fields is a plus
