Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and patient oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk receptionist. As the first point of contact for our Dental office, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Register patients, verify insurance information, and update patient records in our electronic medical records system
- Schedule appointments for patients, ensuring efficient use of provider's time
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate department
- Collect payments from patients and provide receipts
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area
- Help in filing the claim and getting the ins breakdown from insurance
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
Experience:
- Previous experience working at the front desk of a dental office is preferred
- Familiarity with dental terminology is a plus
- Proficiency in using electronic dental records systems is plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
