The Kennel Technician position is a key component to the physical health and well-being of the animals at Bedford County Animal Control. This position of part-time will be scheduled for approximately twenty nine and a half hours (29.5) per week. Must be available to work weekends and holidays. This position provides daily care for the shelter animals, including cleaning and sanitizing kennels and cages and feeding the animals. This position also provides approved medical treatments and medications to shelter animals as prescribed by a veterinarian. Kennel Technicians are also responsible for any other duties assigned by the Director/Deputy Director. This position reports directly to the Director of Animal Control.
