Description
Operates various equipment, including forklifts, to facilitate the movement of materials, parts, assemblies, and finished products within plant, office, or warehouse environments. Records maintenance may be part of responsibilities.
Develops proficiency in fundamental tasks, techniques, and procedures within a specific skill area, process, or method. Applies basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks following prescribed steps.
Adheres to defined Standard Operating Procedures or scientific methods and complies with quality guidelines. Works under general to limited supervision.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
0 to 1 year of warehouse experience or related training.
Acquires and maintains necessary licenses, training, or certifications.
Basic skills training in an analytical/scientific method or operational process area.
Effective communication skills suitable for interaction with coworkers, Team Lead Supervisor.
Proficient in reading, writing, interpreting, and comprehending documents in English, along with basic math skills.
Capable of functioning in a metricsdriven environment.
General computer skills.
Physical Demands
The employee is regularly exposed to activities such as walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, balancing, climbing, lifting, crouching, reaching, pulling, pushing, grasping, talking, hearing, twisting, and frequent use of hands for tasks like typing.
