Beckman Optometry is Hiring an Optician Near Lodi, CA

Beckman Optometry has an immediate opening for a highly motivated and detail orientated licensed or experienced Optician. If you are outgoing, excited to work with a great team and driven to help others, this opportunity could be for you!

Our opticians are responsible for working directly with patients to provide them with all their eyewear needs by selling, fitting and dispensing glasses. You must be friendly and self-motivated to provide the best product, best style with the highest confidence to our patients. Pay negotiable from $21.00 to $24.00 an hour depending on experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • greet all patients in a warm, engaging manner
  • assist patients with proper frame and lens selection for lifestyle and prescription needs
  • submitting vision insurance to VSP, Eyemed, Spectra, and Superior Vision
  • complete contact lens ordering
  • ensure proper fit and measurement s for all lens types including singe vision, bifocals, progressives, and others
  • educate patients on the benefits of having multiple pairs of glasses to fill all their eye care needs
  • verify insurances that patients may have
  • help patients with repairs and adjustments
  • Ensure patient phone calls are returned in a timely manner and patients are informed of any delays in regards to eyeware purchased
  • assist with any other tasks that need to be completed in the office
  • other duties may be assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
