We are currently seeking an experienced Community Association Attorney for our busy Community Association practice. The ideal individual will reside and work from any of the following counties in Florida: Duval, St. Johns, Nassau or Flagler, Clay and Putnam. Must be willing to occasionally work from the Orlando office as needed for special events and meetings.

The primary emphasis will be providing support to clients regarding all functions and areas of interest of an association. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years displaying excellent attention to detail, contract review and case law research. Must share the firm’s commitment to its clients by being prompt, responsive and knowledgeable. Excellent academic credentials with superior research and writing skills required. Community Association practice area experience is required. Must be a member of the Florida Bar.

Responsibilities include: 

• Reviewing and modifying contracts
• Interpreting and drafting amendments to governing documents
• Case law Research
• Drafting amendments to governing documents
• Client relations
• Preparing for and attending board member meetings
• Reviewing community association issues and drafting legal opinions

Experience in:

• Community Association/HOA
• Significant review of legal documents via electronic review platform
• Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, document management system – iManage is preferred
