Job Responsibilities

As the Used Car Director, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our pre-owned vehicle operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Inventory Management: Oversee the acquisition of used inventory across all dealerships to meet organizational needs.
• Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with sales management teams at each location to develop and implement effective marketing strategies that drive high gross profit and unit volume.
• Sales Leadership: Lead and motivate the sales teams to achieve and exceed performance targets while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient and compliant processes across all dealerships.
• Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor employees to foster a positive and high-performing work environment.
• Customer Satisfaction: Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and resolve any escalated customer issues.
• Financial Management: Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-control measures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Used Car Director or similar role in the automotive industry.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of used car sales and inventory management.
• Financial acumen and the ability to analyze and manage budgets.
• Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards.
• Strong computer and phone skills (Internet, Microsoft Office, Reynolds & Reynolds, CRM, VinSolutions, Autotrader).
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Professional business attire and appearance.
• Self-starter with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Valid in-state driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident.
• Must pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, and drug screening.
