This role is a part of the Test & Flight Operations team, providing centralized support to business units with a focus on the design, build, and maintenance of the ground systems, test, and launch facilities across multiple locations.

As part of a small passionate, and accomplished team of experts, you will participate in the development and implementation of engineering processes for Test and Flight Operations systems. We are seeking an experienced individual with excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and analytics skills who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be primarily responsible for the implementation and execution the end-to-end engineering processes for the integrated ground systems used by Blue Origin product lines. You will ensure the implementation is consistent with company policies. In this hands-on position, you will work to increase the speed and efficiency of the program by supporting the timely delivery, quality, and transparency of data to support program activity and business systems.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Design, Implement, and improve engineering and program Lifecyle management policies, procedures, and standards to be used for Test and Flight Operations systems.
• Manage data in Blue Origin eco system
• Establish effective communication with major stakeholders.
• Lead and/or support change control meetings to ensure risks and change impacts are well understood and documented
• Identify and implement system and process improvements as required to increase efficiency and quality

Minimum Qualifications

• 10 years' experience development process definition
• 10 years of experience working in a highly regulated environment (automotive, medical device, aerospace, etc.).
• Proficient with product lifecycle management (PLM)
• Proven ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally with staff at all levels of the organization and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, customers, and suppliers.
• Excellent technical writing and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• BS in a related technical discipline
• Familiarity with export control (EAR/ITAR) regulations
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

• Experience in aerospace or automotive industries
• Experience with Confluence & JIRA
• Experience with SAE EIA-649 or similar
• Experience with MIL-STDs
• Database skills

Compensation range for on site CO applicants is $165,315-$231,441

Compensation range for on site WA applicants is $174,585-$244,419
